Laurie is a native to Monmouth County, New Jersey. She received a degree in Studio Arts and Psychology at the University of Delaware, which included time living and drawing in Brazil. Since graduating, she has been collaborating with galleries throughout the northeast and creating murals nationally and internationally. She is currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY.

I am constantly observing the surroundings that I am in. Using the resources of my environment, I create a language of color that I translate on to canvas to express nostalgia, playfulness, and curiosity. This is the way I record and preserve the times we are living in. I am attracted to the cycle and evolution of life and documenting this process as existence evolves. Through my work, I aim to communicate with the world all the wonder and beauty that it holds.
